The Oxford Union debate clip that broke the internet — and what happened behind the scenes

Shabbos Kestenbaum interviewed me following the release of the videos from the Oxford Union debate on Islam. that went viral around the world. We also discussed the BBC's Gaza documentary scandal, and what the UK's two-tier approach to law and media actually looks like from the inside.

The debate — on the motion, "The West Should Be Suspicious of Islam" — took place in June but was held back by the Oxford Union for weeks. When selective clips started leaking to Middle East Eye, we released our own footage. Within hours, the Oxford Union found the upload button. The result: millions of views and a global conversation.
